Having them sitting at level 5-6 puts you in good shape to get them to 7-8 relatively quickly. Secondly, characters may drop new tokens when future events go live and you might need a level 7 someone all of a sudden. Firstly, getting a toon to level 5 is relatively quick, the combination of tokens that are required to get someone from levels 2-5 are roughly the same as what you needed to welcome them in the first place so that’s about how long it will take you to get them to level 5, also, upgrades to get a character to level 5 are an hour or less so time constraints aren’t an issue. That said, I do try and level everyone to at least level 5 right now for two reasons. Looking at past event activity and regular tasks I don’t need Randall above level 2 even though it seems very low. Without going back and checking every toon’s activity page again, some of the level 10 thresholds might be for costume tokens that I want in the future and not necessarily for character tokens right now. King Louie (Premium received from Christmas chest) - Level 6 Not listed are Premium characters I don’t have or characters from events that were before I started playing. Everyone’s list will vary based on characters they have, events they participated in and any Premium toons they’ve picked up.
I started right before the Snow White event so have no current needs for tokens from events prior to that. Of course he has more activities above lvl 5 for longer timeframes and more magic but if you’re currently just looking to send toons for tokens don’t worry about leveling people above these thresholds unless you have their tokens/magic and have free upgrade time while you’re working on toons that you really want. A lvl 5 Hamm will get you any tokens you need from him. Hamm for instance only needs to be leveled up to 7 for all character token drops and that assumes you need Jafar tokens which you probably don’t. There are many characters that don’t necessarily require lvl 10 status.
